THE ASSOCIATION
The « Cercle Nautique de Mimizan » is a sports association under the French law of 1901, which manages the « Lac et Océan » centre. Its aim is to promote watersports activities through courses and holidays. There are 3 parts to the association:
WATERSPORTS TRAINING COURSES AND HOLIDAYS
Provided by the “Lac & Océan” Centre
ROWING
Sports club open all year round, affiliated to the French Rowing Federation (FFA), provided by the Mimizan Municipal Water Sports Centre.
SAILING
Sports club open all year round, affiliated to the French Sailing Federation (FFV), provided by the Mimizan Municipal Water Sports Centre.

DEDICATED TO GRGROUPS
Since 2005, the « Lac & Océan » centre has exclusively welcomed groups interested in watersports activities.
A TRANQUIL HAVEN
Open all year round, this multi-purpose group accommodation centre is spread over a 12-and-a-half acre wooded park in the heart of the Landes forest.
A RESPONSIVE TEAM
Organisers, agencies, associations, sports clubs, schools, etc. can rely on our permanent team to meet all their needs: accommodation, catering, water sports activities and transport.
AN EXCEPTIONAL LOCATION
The centre is ideally located: 5 minutes by car/bus from the lake, the beach, shops, pharmacy and doctor.

Permanent members of staff
Multi-skilled staff, chef, coach driver, secretary/accountant, centre manager and director.
Regularly trained
(Electrical training, First aid at work, fire extinguisher handling, HACCP (food safety) refresher course, AFCO health & safety courses, etc.)
