Watersports activities
The main objectives of our association are the promotion and development of watersports activities. For this reason, we offer accommodation exclusively to those undertaking waterports activities.
Most of the watersports activities take place on the Lake of Aureilhan (Mimizan Lake) which is 3,5 km (2 miles) from the « Lac et Océan » Centre. Here, you can safely go sailing, canoeing, rowing or stand up paddle boarding.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our sessions (all our monitors hold state qualifications) and for their emphasis on fun.
All sports are governed by the general and specific provisions of Article R227-13 of the Code of Social Action and Families and the Order of April 25, 2012. Thus, the practice of water sports is subject to the provision of the document certifying the successful completion of one of the tests provided for in Article 3 of the Decree of 25 April 2012. The group leader is responsible for providing the Cercle Nautique with the necessary certificates for each participant.
